Barrier Spray Coating a 4" Cast Iron Sewer Line at an office in Clinton, SC

Due to a rash of problems with stoppages in a office building’s main drain line, it was decided to call Mathis Plumbing, a “Barrier Spray Coating” Company to determine if a “Trenchless” method would be a viable solution. To perform a traditional dig-up repair and replace method would have been more costly, taken longer and been more disruptive to the operation of the business.

The Barrier Coating job went well, the drain line was descaled, dried and spray coated with the patented two-part epoxy resin. The inside of the cast iron pipe is now slick and protected from further scaling and deterioration.

Mathis Plumbing was commended on a quality job and completing the job in an efficient and timely manner.
